Regional Manager

Do you want to lead where care truly matters? As a regional manager at a healthcare organization, you will guide teams in asylum seeker care. You will combine leadership with social impact and ensure that healthcare professionals in your region can work optimally. This organization provides good care for all asylum seekers at almost every reception location of a government institution.

What you will do.

  • You are a facilitator who dares to make decisions within complex and challenging environments.
  • You will lead various care teams within your region and ensure that the practices function well.
  • You will determine your own agenda and will be regularly present at the location that requires the most attention at that moment.
  • You will coach employees, promote collaboration, and be responsible for personnel policy, including recruitment, interviews, and absence guidance.
  • You will seek new opportunities for service provision.
  • You will translate organizational goals into practice and create a safe, positive working environment where teams can grow.
  • You will monitor quality, achieve objectives, implement policy, and maintain contacts with chain partners.
  • On-call services in accordance with the General Practitioners' collective labor agreement may apply.
  • You will manage your own agenda and regularly show your presence at the locations for which you are ultimately responsible.
  • You will travel extensively to the various locations where you lead diverse teams, ranging from 2 to 10 colleagues.
  • Medical decisions rest with the general practitioner and/or medical director.
  • One to two times a month, you will be expected at the head office to meet with other regional managers.

Profile

  • HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level and a relevant HBO degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing multiple (large) teams, including personnel and operational responsibility.
  • Preferably experience within (primary) healthcare, with developed stakeholder management skills.
  • Possesses a B driving license and is flexibly deployable within your region.
  • Travel time is not an issue.
  • Core competencies: sensitive, strong communicator, connector, persuasive, and intrinsically motivated to work for a healthcare organization.
  • Knows how to remain calm and act adequately in stressful situations.
