IAM Engineer

You will strengthen the team responsible for the backend of an internal identity orchestration platform.
- You have demonstrable IAM expertise and are able to guide the implementation of identity governance, provisioning, and fine-grained authorization solutions.
- You maintain and develop existing.NET components and contribute to the transition to a modern, cloud-native architecture on Azure.
- You contribute to IAM-related evolutions, API security, and new Azure-based modules.
What you do
- Support and further develop the internal identity orchestration platform, including analysis, development, maintenance, and follow-up.
- Migrate existing.NET components to a cloud-native target architecture on Azure, identifying reusable components and translating functional needs into maintainable, cloud-ready solutions.
- Design and build new Azure-based IAM functionalities from scratch, using components such as Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, and Azure Key Vault, and integrate them with REST services and identity providers.
- Support IAM-related development including user provisioning, API security, token conversion with user context, and changes within identity governance (IGA).
- Follow up on IAM-related incidents and support vulnerability management.
- Apply expertise in IAM and security engineering to support secure user management, access control, and API integrations.
- Provide senior-level input on IAM architecture and support the implementation of the agreed-upon architecture, including detailed design and delivery of IAM solutions such as policy-based authorization.
- Design and implement identity lifecycle management and user provisioning solutions, including integrations with identity providers and SCIM-based flows.
- Design and implement fine-grained authorization using policy engines and standards such as OPA, OpenFGA, or AuthZen, applying appropriate authorization models (RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, PBAC).
- Maintain and implement solutions within agreed timing and quality standards.
- Document implementations and changes.
- Support analysts and designers in translating functional specifications into technical solutions.
- Provide 3rd-line support.
- Monitor technical evolutions and conduct independent research, with the support of an application architect.
- Understand the technical architecture and reuse existing technical components.
- Assist with planned production deployments outside office hours.
