What you do
- Ensure the psychiatric evaluation and follow-up of elderly patients presenting neurocognitive and behavioral disorders.
- Contribute to the development and adaptation of individualized therapeutic projects.
- Act as a clinical guide and clinical referent for the care project within the unit.
- Support teams in managing complex situations.
- Participate in the development of new care projects in elderly psychiatry.
- Possible complementary activities:
- Liaison psychiatry consultations within the geriatric units.
- Interventions in a nursing home.
- Psychiatric consultations in a polyclinic.
- Participation in innovative projects in elderly psychiatry.
Profile
- Diploma of specialist physician in psychiatry recognized in Belgium.
- Independent status or possibility to work under this status.
- Interest in elderly psychiatry, psychogeriatrics, and neurocognitive disorders.
- Sense of multidisciplinary teamwork.
- Excellent relational and human qualities.
- Ability to work in a patient- and family-centered approach.
