Technical Administrator

You will work for a government organization. The position is embedded with continuous core activities and side-by-side activities. There is an on-call / breakdown service approximately once every five to six weeks, where urgent breakdowns are resolved on weekdays from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM and on weekends during the day. A travel time of approximately half an hour is required.

What you will do.

• Ensure the proper functioning of electrical and control engineering installations, with a focus on technical malfunctions.
• Independently resolve more or less complex malfunctions, while maintaining safety.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical installations.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve (complex) malfunctions.
• Test, calibrate, and commission installations.
• Conduct inspections and assess the condition of an installation.
• Consult with clients.
• Execute and supervise certain projects.
• Ensure proper documentation.

What they ask

• Completed education at least at MBO level 4.
• Demonstrable work experience in electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, and mechanical engineering activities.
• In possession of a B driving license.
• Maximum commuting time of 40 minutes due to the on-call service.
• Completed VCA basic certification.

Preferences.

• Completed NEN 3140 certification.
• Demonstrable work experience with investigating, analyzing, and resolving (complex) malfunctions.
• Demonstrable work experience with installing electrical engineering installations.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience with electrical engineering installations, including fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs.
