A specialized care institution is looking for an experienced GZ-psychologist or clinical (neuro)psychologist as a diagnostician for its psychodiagnostic center (PDC). The PDC performs extensive, broadly oriented (neuro)psychological diagnostics for clients with suspected complex comorbidity or neurocognitive disorders.
Psychodiagnostic examinations are requested by clients and therapists from across the institution, for example for differential diagnostics, gaining insight into complex patterns, and contributing to appropriate treatment. Collaboration with the client is intensified so that diagnostics are used as a meaningful intervention. Within the team, weekly intervision and case discussions take place, and there is close cooperation with other PDCs within a larger healthcare organization.
The team is multidisciplinary and consists of a core of approximately 10 employees, including clinical psychologists, GZ-psychologists, MSc. psychologists, a diagnostic assistant, and a planner. Additionally, there are always colleagues in training.
What you will do.
- Perform complex, extensive psychodiagnostics for clients with both excessive substance use/gambling and co-morbid problems
- Conduct neuropsychological research, intelligence testing, personality testing, and research into, for example, developmental problems
- Guide and supervise employees and/or interns
Profile
- Completed training as a GZ-psychologist or clinical (neuro)psychologist and BIG-registered as such (more than 3 years of experience is a plus for providing work supervision to psychologists in BIG training programs)
- Preferably several years of work experience in psychodiagnostics within Specialized Mental Healthcare (GGZ)
- Excellent oral and written language skills
- Ability to deal with a complex target group, analytical, and able to look at people and their functioning, complaints, or problems with a broad, holistic view
- Willingness to share this vision, knowledge, and experience with others in the context of training
- A positive Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required
