Security Team Leader

You contribute to a safe and manageable environment within a penitentiary institution. The goal is to prevent unsafe situations and respond adequately to incidents. Your team ensures compliance with safety regulations and security measures.

What you will do.

• Maintain calm in your department and within your team.
• Support and intervene when the situation demands it.
• Make ad-hoc decisions.
• Stimulate the qualitative development of your employees.
• Play an important role in the inflow and progression of security officers to other disciplines and levels within the organization.
• Foster a culture where integrity, openness, and mutual trust are central.
• Be visibly present on the work floor and connect different departments.
• Lead the security team by setting clear frameworks, coaching employees, and actively stimulating their development.
• Maintain alert supervision and intervene promptly to ensure peace and safety.
• Take the lead in crisis situations, remain calm, and ensure decisions are executed carefully and according to protocols.
• Collaborate closely with other departments.
• Take responsibility for assigned portfolios such as planning, crisis management, and IBT.
