Lecturer

• Provide instruction for the SM 527 Autonomous Systems course in the Polytechnic Faculty's Master's program (3 ECTS credits), in English.
• Conduct student evaluations for the course.
• Integrate into the scientific research domain of robotics.
• Participate in various committees, meetings, and events related to the institution's missions.
• Supervise master's theses.
• Contribute to the general tasks of the department.

What they ask

• Be a Belgian citizen or a citizen of another EEA country or Switzerland.
• Meet conduct requirements and civil rights.
• Be willing to undergo a security check.
• Hold a PhD in applied sciences or engineering sciences.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of English (SLP 3333 / STANAG 6001), attested within 45 calendar days of publication.
• Have at least 15 years of relevant scientific research experience in robotics and autonomous systems.
• Have over 10 years of experience in project leadership and coordination in robotics and autonomous systems.
• Possess relevant teaching experience in robotics and autonomous systems.

Assets.

• Knowledge of Dutch and French is a plus.

• Temporary appointment as part-time teaching staff for five years, with possibility of extension.
• Remuneration per contact hour according to legal provisions.
