You will join a residential unit within the organization, consisting of 4 living groups, offering 24-hour guidance to adults with long-term, complex psychological vulnerabilities. A warm and structured living environment is created, focusing on recovery-oriented guidance.
What you do
As a counselor, you truly make a difference for patients and their loved ones. You guide, observe, and support them during their treatment.
- You organize and follow up on the daily guidance of residents, both individually and in groups.
- As an individual counselor, you involve the resident's context in the personal and social recovery process.
- You draw up trajectory plans, monitor their implementation, and evaluate them together with the interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, educators, nurses, and care assistants.
- You build a relationship of trust with residents and involve their family and network.
- You collaborate in an interdisciplinary team.
- You work in 24-hour care with early, day, and late shifts, including weekends. Exceptionally, you may be asked to cover night shifts.
What they ask
- You have a bachelor's or graduate/HBO5 diploma in a human sciences field. Some experience is a plus, but recent graduates are warmly welcomed and coached by a professional team.
- Experience or internships in mental healthcare are considered an asset.

- You possess a good degree of independence and help shape the guidance.

- A gross monthly salary for full-time employment ranging from €3,187 to €5,419, according to IFIC scale 14 or 14B. Salary placement is based on your diploma and relevant seniority.
- At least 47 days off (24 vacation days, 13 ADV days, and 10 public holidays) per year for full-time employment.
- Additional compensation (between 20% - 56%) for public holidays, evening, night, and weekend work.
