As a technical advisor in mechanical engineering within Management & Maintenance, you are the technical conscience for a strategic real estate portfolio and the eyes and ears on the locations for the object managers.
- You collaborate with your fellow technical advisors, object managers, and project assistants, collectively safeguarding the quality of the real estate.
- You pay particular attention to standards, laws & regulations, and agreements made in maintenance specifications/contract agreements.
What you will do.
- Analyze malfunctions, identify trends, and provide advice on them.
- Be well-informed about legal obligations and be able to explain KPI percentages.
- Direct contractors and address them regarding the timely execution of legal obligations.
- Monitor the number of legal obligations performed.
- Advise object managers on the status of legal obligations.
- Ensure smooth progress of work by organizing, coordinating, directing, and reporting on progress.
- Advise object managers on which elements should be included in the Multi-Year Maintenance and Investment Plan (MOIP).
- Translate client wishes into work descriptions.
- Assess the value of offers and advisory reports.
What they ask
- Minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level with a technical educational background.
- Minimum 1 year of knowledge and experience in performing work in the construction sector, gained in the past 3 years.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in work preparation related to maintenance and small new construction (less than or equal to 50,000 euros) and real estate, gained in the past 3 years.
- Possess suitable electronic tools for the assignment (not provided by the organization).
- Agree to the stated screening procedures.
