As a group counselor, you will be part of an internal flexible pool within a healthcare organization. You have control over your own work schedule and get to know various departments and specialisms. You support the continuity of care and work with dedicated colleagues to guide the most vulnerable people.
What you do
- Guide, stimulate, and motivate clients in daily living activities and social/group activities.
- Contribute to treatment and assess crisis situations.
- Observe and evaluate clients' reactions.
- Provide information and psycho-education to clients.
- Support various specialisms and departments, particularly in crisis/forensic units.
What they ask
- Completed pedagogical education at a minimum of MBO-4 or HBO level (SPW, MWD, SPH or Social Work).
- Demonstrable experience in crisis/forensic care.
- Passion for working with this specific target group.
- Ability to adapt well to different situations and quickly master work procedures.
- Easy to establish contact with colleagues and clients.
- Understanding the importance of de-escalating work and being able to take charge.
- Flexible availability for early, late, and night shifts.
- Willingness to provide a VOGp (Police Certificate of Conduct).
