A government organization is looking for an experienced Green Space Supervisor / Green Space Work Preparer for the Public Space team. The professional will supervise the execution of work within public spaces, with a strong focus on tree management and green facilities.
The objectives of the assignment are:
- A high-quality executed tree and green replacement program
- Demonstrable quality assurance during execution
- Timely signaling and handling of deviations and risks
- Complete inspection, delivery, and progress reports
- Careful and demonstrable contract management during the execution of projects
What you will do.
- Independently supervise the execution of the tree and green replacement program
- Assess the execution against contracts, RAW specifications, quality standards, and laws and regulations
- Perform and record quality controls, inspections
- Signal deviations, risks, and improvement points and advise the client on these
- Monitor progress on quality, planning, and contractual agreements
- Independently coordinate with contractors and other executing parties regarding the execution
- Evaluate reports and advise on corrective measures
- Provide professional input during the preparation, execution, and delivery of projects
- Prepare inspection, progress, and delivery reports
Profile
The candidate will work closely with managers, work preparers, and other supervisors and actively contribute to the management and maintenance of public spaces.

- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of mbo-4 level
- Demonstrable work experience in the role of tree supervisor, green space supervisor, or a directly comparable function
- Demonstrable possession of a B driving license
- Demonstrable knowledge of tree management
- Demonstrable work experience with RAW methodology and UAV
- Demonstrable knowledge of GIS and CAD
Preferences.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience in the role of tree supervisor, green space supervisor, or a directly comparable function
- Demonstrable possession of a Data Inspector Trees (DIB) Certificate
- Demonstrable possession of an European Tree Worker (ETW) Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience with GIS and CAD
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience with tree management
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable work experience with RAW methodology and UAV
