Supervisor

You will work at a location that provides support to fifteen adults with a mild to moderate intellectual disability.

• Often, there is also an autism spectrum disorder or other psychiatric issues.
• The location consists of seven residences, divided into apartments, each with its own apartment and a shared front door.
• There is a communal, cozy walk-in area with an open kitchen where cooking, shared coffee, and activities take place.
• In addition to guiding the residential group, you will also guide clients who live independently (extramural support).
• The team faces the challenge of a planned relocation in a year and a half.

What you will do.

• The clients are semi-independent and primarily need support to participate in society.
• Tasks include: joint grocery shopping, accompanying to medical appointments, and maintaining contact with the workplace or day activities.
• You will help shape their lives together with the client.
• You will occasionally work as a personal supervisor.
• Clients range from 25 to 65 years old, with diverse support needs.
• You will work in a stable team.

• Completed pedagogical/care education at level 3 or 4.
• Openness to be trained in the "Geef me de 5" methodology.
• Affinity with autism.
