You will work for an environmental agency dedicated to a clean, sustainable, and safe living environment. The organization handles permitting, supervision, and enforcement of environmental legislation for municipalities and the province. You will join a team of soil colleagues, each with their own specialization.
Wat je doet
- Assess Environmental Act notifications, such as remediation and excavation in soil above the intervention value.
- Verify if notifications comply with laws and regulations.
- Evaluate submitted soil investigations and other information.
- Consult with colleagues and contact applicants with questions.
- Reject notifications that do not meet requirements.
- Handle the administrative processing of notifications.
- Enter soil investigations into the Nazca soil information system.
- Initiate the publication process and manage archiving for municipalities.
- Contact supervision in case of discrepancies.
Profiel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Structured way of working and ability to maintain an overview of the workload.
- Remain calm and decisive when work pressure increases.
- Integrity, eager to learn, enthusiastic, and energetic.
- Dares to take responsibility, solution-oriented, and service-minded.
Eisen
- HBO diploma (higher professional education).
- Candidate must demonstrably meet the national quality criteria 3.1 for permitting, supervision, and enforcement under the Environmental Act.
Wensen
- Preferably in Environmental Science or Soil.
- Preferably experience with the Environmental Act.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
Praktisch
- You will collaborate internally with other soil permit officers and, if necessary, with colleagues from soil advisory and supervision.
- Externally, you will have contact with stakeholders such as municipalities, applicants, and consulting firms.
