The project aims to realize a new reception pit for wastewater and to make the discharge via pressure pipelines future-proof. Wastewater discharge is an important part of the municipal infrastructure. The current reception pit is insufficiently suitable and causes nuisance. Several pressure pipelines, partly made of asbestos cement, need replacement in complex and costly locations.
What you do
As a project leader, you guide and manage the further preparation and realization of the project. You bring together the various technical, spatial, administrative, and organizational aspects of the task and ensure coherence and progress towards realization. The project is completed when:
- a new reception pit has been realized
- a specific pressure pipeline is connected to the new pit and discharges at the new discharge point
- the reception pit has been prepared for the connection of the other pressure pipelines
Specific activities include:
- Managing the engineering firm in the further elaboration of the master plan at SO-level, including principles, hydraulic tests, and SSK estimates
- Organizing the necessary administrative and political support for the preferred variant
- Having the design elaborated from SO to VO, while monitoring quality, planning
- Preparing the market approach and putting the VO on the market, preferably via a construction team or UAV-GC
- Organizing the acquisition of the necessary land
- Making and coordinating agreements with the water board
- Arranging (or having arranged) the necessary permits
- Preparing and guiding the contract formation between the organization and the contractor
- Arranging the financial coverage for part of the project through a settlement agreement
Profile
You work closely with internal colleagues, an engineering firm, the water board, landowners, market parties, and other involved stakeholders. You are part of the team and may receive instructions and guidance on how to perform the work.
