Warehouse Manager

As a Supply and Inventory Management Employee, you ensure that the right materials and goods are available at the right time for a logistics organization. You manage stocks, control deliveries, process issues, and monitor the quality of warehouse items. This prevents delays in maintenance and daily operations and helps units remain operationally deployable. Your work ensures that people and equipment have what they need to perform their tasks safely.

What you will do.

• You combine practical warehouse work with inventory management and administration.
• You receive goods, check deliveries, and ensure correct storage.
• You issue items to users, take back materials, and carefully process all movements in the administration.
• You monitor inventory and track reorders, return obligations, and any damage procedures.
• You manage various specialized resources, including measuring instruments, lifting and hoisting equipment, safety equipment, and rescue equipment.
• You work with automated systems for goods and inventory management.
• You regularly coordinate with users, planners, and other logistics and technical colleagues.
• You guide and coach assigned employees where necessary.
• You will be deployed in rotation in the on-call cycle.
• You receive, check, and store goods, ensuring materials are available on time and correctly.
• You manage inventories and monitor reorders, preventing shortages and delays as much as possible.
• You issue and take back items, resulting in up-to-date and reliable administration.
• You manage specialized resources and perform inventory controls according to established procedures.
• You keep warehouses safe, clean, and organized and ensure correct storage of goods.
• You manage hazardous substances according to regulations and ensure safe and environmentally responsible storage.
• Flexibility is important; you may be deployed within one or more maintenance groups and, depending on the activities, work outside regular working hours.

What they ask

• Completed MBO-3 or MBO-4 education in logistics.
• Experience with supply, inventory management, or warehouse activities.
• Ability to work carefully with inventory administration and automated systems.
• Knowledge of logistical processes and procedures.
• Work safely, accurately, and environmentally consciously.
• Possesses VCA VOL or is willing to obtain it.

Nice-to-haves.

• Experience with the management of specialized or technical materials.
• Experience with hazardous substances and associated storage regulations.
• Experience with guiding or coaching colleagues.
