You will delve into the complex guidance surrounding a specific neurological condition. Within a specialized center, you will support residents and their families through all phases of this impactful process.
What you do
- Provide psychosocial and material guidance to residents and their families
- Work independently and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams across different locations
- Guide both residents and family members
- Apply your expertise to support colleagues
- Guide complex processing and acceptance processes
- Assist with societal issues
- Offer support to clients and relatives dealing with heredity and behavioral changes
- Work for residents of specialized living units as well as clients living at home via the outpatient clinic
- Collaborate closely with doctors, psychologists, paramedics, and nurses on-site
- Be part of an overarching professional group with regular intervision and consultation
What they ask
- An HBO diploma in MWD or Social Work
- Work experience as a social worker in elderly care
- Knowledge of or demonstrable affinity with the specific neurological condition or other complex neurological disorders is a plus
- Be resilient and able to connect well with residents and colleagues
- Have a sense of humor and be a people person
Practical
- A 9-month contract with a possibility of extension
- Salary according to the CAO VVT, depending on diploma and experience
- In addition to your salary: 8% holiday allowance, 8.33% year-end bonus, and a bonus for referring new colleagues
