As a Client Manager Work & Income, you guide residents who need support in the areas of work, income, and participation. You look beyond the benefit situation alone and help people increase their self-reliance, while carefully ensuring a lawful implementation of the Participation Act. You will work on assignments for municipalities and other public organizations.
What you do
As a Client Manager Work & Income, you are responsible for guiding residents within the domain of Work, Income, and Participation. Depending on the assignment, the emphasis will be on income, work, participation, reintegration, legality, or a combination thereof. You conduct intake and progress interviews, assess applications within the Participation Act, and guide residents towards work, participation, or appropriate support.
Additionally, you draw up trajectory plans, monitor progress, and maintain contact with employers, reintegration partners, and other involved organizations. Your activities may include:
- Conducting intake, guidance, and progress interviews
- Assessing applications within the Participation Act
- Informing residents about their rights, obligations
- Guiding residents towards work, participation, or appropriate support
- Drawing up, implementing, and monitoring trajectory plans
- Managing your own caseload
- Identifying obstacles, such as debts, health problems, language deficiencies, or a distance from the labor market
- Collaborating with employers, reintegration partners, debt counseling, care organizations, and other chain partners
- Monitoring the legality, efficiency, and progress of files
- Drawing up reports and preparing decisions
- Identifying opportunities for improvement in implementation and service delivery

What they ask You possess:
- Experience as a Client Manager Work & Income, Participation Act consultant, income consultant, work consultant, reintegration consultant, participation case manager, or a similar function
- Experience within a municipality, social service, regional implementation organization, or other public organization
- Knowledge of the Participation Act and related laws and regulations
- Experience with intake interviews, progress interviews, caseload management, and/or application assessment
- The ability to work in a people-oriented manner within clear legal frameworks
- Strong communication skills and a precise way of working
- Organizational sensitivity and a feel for the administrative and public context
- The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, employers, and chain partners
- The ambition to further develop yourself within the Work & Income domain
