A specialized institution for youth and family care is looking for a basic psychologist or orthopedagogue for an intercultural polyclinic. You will join an open and helpful team with extensive knowledge and expertise, where collaboration and quality are highly valued.
What you will do.
- Work with a broad and complex target group of children, adolescents, and young adults aged 6 to 24 years.
- Treat various psychological complaints, such as ADHD, autism, trauma, and anxiety disorders.
- Perform both generalist and specialist work, specifically focused on intercultural issues.
- Provide diagnostics and treatment, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate closely with schools and other healthcare professionals.
The activities include:
- Intakes, the initial contact with the client and family, forming an understanding of the request for help.
- Investigating and analyzing psychological complaints.
- Individual and group treatments, including cognitive behavioral therapy.
- Monitoring the treatment process and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
What they ask
- Relevant university-level knowledge, for example, in psychology or orthopedagogy.
- Preferably, experience with cognitive behavioral therapy.
- Flexible, committed, and passionate about working with a broad target group.
- In possession of an SKJ registration in the professional register for youth and family professionals.
- An enthusiastic and eager-to-learn colleague.
- A positive Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required.
