What you do
As a support worker, you help residents with their daily care. You work with people who have a low developmental level and may sometimes exhibit challenging behavior. You provide clarity, calm, and safety. You collaborate with permanent colleagues who will guide you well. Your tasks include:
- Assisting with washing, dressing
- Providing calm and structure during the day
- Observing behavior and responding appropriately
- Engaging in relaxing activities with clients, such as walking, reading, or making music
- Collaborating with colleagues and ensuring a good handover
- Contributing to a pleasant and safe atmosphere in the residence
Profile
In this role, it is important to remain calm and be caring. You have patience, work step-by-step, and are eager to learn in practice. You are open to feedback and enjoy working with colleagues. Key competencies include:
