A leading production facility is in the midst of an expansion phase, with multiple investment projects simultaneously. The assignment involves managing the control and automation scope of these projects. This means translating technical requirements into concrete solutions, managing external parties, and ensuring a smooth handover to production.
What you will do.
- Manage the control scope of investment projects, from specification to handover
- Prepare and evaluate technical specifications (URS/FDS)
- Monitor planning, progress, and technical quality of machine builders and system integrators
- Verify control concepts, PLC software, and electrical designs against the organization's standards
- Plan and execute FAT, SAT, commissioning
- Intervene personally in technical problems during testing and startup
- Monitor machine safety and CE conformity of new installations
- Collaborate closely with production, maintenance, electrical engineering, and project management
Profile
- At least 7 years of experience as a controls, automation, or project engineer in a production environment
- A strong background in PLC controls, preferably Rockwell; Siemens is also welcome
- Experience in leading technical projects and managing external suppliers
- Practical experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning
- Good electrical knowledge: you can read and evaluate diagrams and cabinet designs
- Knowledge of machine safety and associated standards
- You are a strong communicator and switch easily between technology and project management
- You are independent and immediately deployable
