Rolling Stock Mechanic

As a Rolling Stock Mechanic, you are responsible for the maintenance and repair of heavy rolling stock on a client's site. You will work daily on various machines and engines of different brands and ensure that the equipment remains in top technical condition.
What you will do.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on larger rolling stock to avoid defects and downtime
- Carry out basic work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Detect and resolve technical malfunctions
- Work on different brands and engines
- Participate in weekend on-call duty in rotation with other technicians
What they ask
- Experience with engines of larger rolling stock
- Strong problem-solving ability and hands-on mentality
- General basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Flexible and willing to work with different brands and participate in on-call duties
- In possession of (or willing to obtain):
- Forklift certificate
- BA4
- Overhead crane certificate
