An organization specializing in exhibition stand and interior design is looking for a freelance technical drafter. The organization designs and realizes high-quality exhibition stands, interiors, and brand experiences for clients domestically and internationally. The entire process, from creative concept to production and installation, is managed in-house.
What you do
- As a technical drafter, you bridge the gap between design and production.
- You technically elaborate the designs from the designers.
- You ensure that carpenters, production, and assembly teams have all necessary information to realize projects efficiently and with high quality.
- You are an important sparring partner for both designers and production.
What they ask
- Technically strong, solution-oriented, and fluent communication with stakeholders.
- Education in wood technology, interior design, product development, industrial design, or equivalent by experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical drafter.
- Experience in exhibition stand construction, interior design, carpentry, or custom furniture is a major asset.
- Knowledge of the technical drawing program Vectorworks (interiorcad) is a must.
- Strong technical insight and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Hands-on mentality and sense of ownership.
- Ability to work independently while being a true team player.
