The technical application administrator is part of a DevOps team within a department working on confidential information systems.
- The teams develop and manage applications of great importance for a national government service.
- Work is carried out according to Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the client fulfilling the Product Owner role.
- The team collaborates closely with other teams, such as network and DBA teams.
- The applications are developed in.Net.
- The overall team is responsible for both application development and daily management.
What you do
- Automate application deployment (via containerization or Ansible).
- Install and troubleshoot applications running in a Windows or Linux (container) environment.
- Coordinate activities with functional management.
- Advise and support the Product Owner in implementing changes.
- Manage and adapt the various environments.
- Support the development of platform components.
- Set up and monitor logging on applications and systems.
- Coordinate changes for the application.
- Participate in on-call duty (24/7).
What they ask
- HBO+ ICT education with a diploma.
- Minimum 3 years demonstrable experience with the management of Microsoft Windows systems.
- Minimum 3 years demonstrable experience with the management of.Net applications.
- Minimum 1 year demonstrable experience with containerization in the Linux technology stack (Kubernetes, Helm charts).
- Proficiency in Dutch at language level B2 (speaking, reading, writing).
Preferences.
- Demonstrable experience as a team member within a Scrum/DevOps team.
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft SQL systems.
- Demonstrable experience with Monitoring/Logging: Zabbix, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Logstash.
- Demonstrable experience with GitOps.
- Demonstrable experience with Rancher and RKE2.
Preferences – Competencies.
- Good troubleshooter: problem analysis with judgment within limited time and under time pressure.
