An experienced interim quality employee is sought for a laboratory organization due to additional workload. The role involves advising and execution at both operational and tactical levels.
What you will do.
- Advise managers and supervisors on daily and more complex quality issues.
- Translate quality standards, laws and regulations, and relevant developments into workable measures and improvement initiatives.
- Independently work on overdue quality tasks, including elaborating Category B non-conformities (NCBs) resulting from an accreditation audit.
- Prepare for an audit scheduled for April.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and permits, including a farmatech permit.
- Act as a sparring partner for the existing quality employee.
- Contribute to the implementation, communication, monitoring, and assurance of quality policy.
What they ask
- Minimum HBO/WO working and thinking level.
- Demonstrable experience as a quality advisor, preferably in a laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of and experience with ISO-EN-NEN 15189 is required.
- Affinity with laws, regulations, and permits within medical microbiology is a plus.
- A background as an analyst is a plus.
- Analytical, systematic, and meticulous, yet pragmatic and solution-oriented.
- Strong communicator, able to switch between different levels and build consensus.
- Proactive, quickly deployable, and independently operational from the start.
Profile
The organization is an independent foundation with approximately 200 professionals. It serves various healthcare providers with a full range of infection care: infection prevention, minimizing antibiotic resistance, containing outbreaks, and broad diagnostics including consultation. It is the only Dutch laboratory outside a hospital that offers this broad diagnostics. As an independent foundation, the organization determines its own course and responds flexibly and quickly to opportunities.
