For an industrial production environment, we are looking for a Project Engineer for a long-term assignment. You will be responsible for a defined project package concerning the development and implementation of inline quality inspection. The focus is on inspection equipment and vision systems for controlling labels, QR codes, and barcodes.
What you do
- Translate quality requirements into technical specifications for inline inspection systems
- Develop and implement solutions for label control, reading QR codes and barcodes, and automatic quality control
- Coordinate suppliers and integrators, from system selection to installation and commissioning
- Integrate inspection equipment and vision systems into production lines, together with Engineering, Production, Quality
- Guide testing, commissioning
- Coordinate quality data and data exchange within an environment where MES and ERP communicate with each other
- Monitor technical scope, planning, and quality within your project package
- Ensure clear work instructions and practical training so that operators can operate the inspection systems independently and correctly after delivery

- Experience as a Project Engineer within an industrial production environment
- Technical knowledge of inline inspection, vision systems, and label or code control
- Experience with supplier coordination and the implementation of equipment on production lines
- You translate functional needs into practical technical solutions and independently follow up on their execution

- Knowledge of data integrity and compliance, including which inspection data needs to be registered and how it is stored, processed, and exchanged within a MES/ERP environment
Practical
- Responsibility for a defined technical project package, from development to implementation
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and specialized suppliers
