An Interim Manager Maintenance Labs is sought to cover a long-term absence.
- You will shape maintenance management within a specialized department.
- Responsible for the policy regarding maintenance and reliability of installations.
- Ensuring the safe and reliable execution of maintenance and modifications to complex installations.
- Working systematically and in close consultation with internal and external departments.
- Managing the maintenance budget and preparing long-term maintenance plans.
- Developing KPIs needed to monitor the maintenance program and adjust where necessary.
- Reports to department management and leads various maintenance teams (approx. 35 employees), as part of the management team.
What you do
- Managing all maintenance activities for the installations, including work preparation, planning, realization, control, reporting, and communication, with the aim of ensuring continuity and safety.
- Leading the Maintenance department, focused on the safe operation and utilization of the installations.
- Determining priority of work for reliability, availability, and safety of installations.
- Evaluating and optimizing maintenance processes and procedures within the department, with attention to aspects related to the aging of the installation, and initiating improvements.
- Monitoring, directing, and supervising the progress and quality of maintenance work in the installation.
- Managing the technical and financial resources required for the execution of the work.
- Directing, inspiring, developing, coaching, and evaluating employees within the department, in line with the leadership vision and strategy.
- Stimulating and facilitating the development and sharing of professional knowledge and expertise among employees.

- Decisive, flexible, and clear reporting in word and writing (Dutch and English).
- Willingness to follow necessary training and courses.
What they ask
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
- Completed technical education at a minimum of HBO (higher professional education) level.
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrable managerial work experience within a complex organization.
- Minimum of 8 years of demonstrable experience with maintenance management within a complex technical and/or industrial environment.
Preferences.
- Demonstrable experience in leading a Maintenance department and/or multidisciplinary technical maintenance teams.
- Experience with maintenance management in a complex technical, industrial, and/or highly regulated environment, where safety, reliability, and availability of installations are central.
- Experience with developing, evaluating, and optimizing maintenance processes, maintenance plans, and KPIs focused on the safety, reliability, and availability of installations.
- Work experience in or with an organization with nuclear activities is a plus.
