A government organization is looking for several security guards to strengthen a team. The organization is constantly evolving and is committed to protecting important interests. Professional security of all locations is essential. The work involves the surveillance and security of terrains, buildings, vehicles, and equipment. You will work in a civilian capacity, wear a uniform and carry a weapon. Continuous training is provided by experienced instructors, including on the use of force.
You will report to the Group Commander and work closely with the Watch Coordinator, fellow security guards, and dog handlers.
What you do
As a security guard, you are an important force at the organization's locations. You will perform various tasks:
- Patrolling on organization sites
- Observing irregularities and monitoring camera footage
- Detecting suspicious situations and acting effectively when necessary
- Responding to alarms and using force if the situation requires it
- Performing access controls and ensuring only authorized persons gain access
- Operating access systems
- Providing support during emergencies
What they ask
- An MBO 2 - Security Diploma is preferred
- Work experience in security or as a military person is a plus
- Good social and communication skills (Dutch language in word and writing)
- Strong in detecting and assessing situations, able to switch quickly
- Dares to take immediate action when necessary
- Disciplined and mentally strong, remains calm and maintains an overview even in stressful situations
- Integral team player
- Physically fit, actively exercises and maintains a healthy lifestyle
- Able to work seamlessly in 5-shift services (day/evening/night and weekend)
- In possession of a B driving license (manual) and own transport for commuting
Practical
- You will receive a salary including an allowance for irregular services.
- In addition to your salary, you will receive an Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 16.33% of your salary, to be used for payout, extra leave, or training.
