Within a healthcare organization with a strong learning climate and a culture of continuous development, you play a central role as a training advisor for nursing homes. You help shape the learning ambitions of the organization, so that healthcare professionals can continue to perform their work optimally.
What you do
- Conduct advisory discussions with stakeholders about new learning and development issues
- Translate organizational goals into appropriate training and development programs
- Set up and manage broad learning programs for nursing homes, in collaboration with HR, ICT, and control, including further training and vocational education
- Collaborate with advisors from other nursing homes and educational institutions in the region
- Coordinate and be involved in designing and organizing care training for nursing homes and in regional partnerships
- Consult with partners inside and outside the organization about utilizing subsidies and writing subsidy applications for nursing homes
- Play an active role in information meetings about training and development within nursing homes
Profile
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level and experience in the field of Learning & Development
- Experience in elderly care and/or as an HBO-V nurse is a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset and results-oriented
- Strategic thinking and a clear vision on learning and development within nursing homes
- Able to bring about change, resilient, and a fast learner
- Effectively deal with resistance and conflicting interests
- Implementation power, independent
Practical
As a training advisor, you fall under the Academy of a healthcare organization. You work for the nursing homes where training and development are a priority. These locations provide care to approximately 334 residents with somatic and psychogeriatric care needs. You work closely with the other training advisor, the location managers of the nursing homes, and the Training team. Within the Academy, there is ample room for self-direction, innovation, and discovering new ways of working and training.
