For an organization, an experienced professional is sought for the role of Interim Internal Finance Team Manager.

What you do

Lead the internal finance team: daily follow-up, coaching, and development of employees.
Manage and coordinate the complete accounting (A to Z) within the group companies.
Responsible for timely and accurate monthly and annual closings.
Collaborate with the internal finance expert in preparing annual accounts and tax declarations.
Support group consolidation.
Primary point of contact for administrative follow-up with banks.
Optimize processes and internal controls.
Close collaboration with the controlling team for accurate and timely financial reporting.
Prepare information and documentation for the external auditor.
Advise management on financial strategy, cash flow, and cost control.
Within the year: take leadership of the credit collection team and ensure good alignment between internal finance and collection.

What they ask

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
At least 7 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, including several years in a leadership role.
Thorough knowledge of Belgian accounting and tax legislation.
Experience with accounting software; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or Exact Online is a plus.
Experience with group reporting or consolidation is an asset.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical, results-oriented, and structured.
Fluent in Dutch.
