What you will do.
- Advise the college on various and diverse economic topics that contribute to a strong economy in the city concerned.
- Be the point of contact within the organization and with stakeholders in the city.
- Provide advice on spatial planning issues.
- Prepare administrative decision-making for the weekly market around public holidays.
- Implement the extension of the BIZ in the city center.
- Be part of the city center area team.
- Contribute to thinking about developments within a regional metropolitan area and translate these into opportunities for the city and local entrepreneurs.

As a Policy Officer Economic Affairs, you advise the college on various economic topics that contribute to a strong economy. - Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a policy advisor within a municipal institution.
- Demonstrable knowledge of economic topics such as a business investment zone and entrepreneurs' associations.
- Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
- Demonstrable work experience with advising on economic affairs in spatial development projects.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience in contact with (local) entrepreneurs.
