Program Manager Ecosystem Development

• Develop and deliver a strategic proposal for further strengthening the ecosystem, including opportunities, forms of collaboration, and growth directions.
• Elaborate and deliver a governance and collaboration model for sustainable cooperation between the involved parties.
• Realize a demonstrable network of active collaboration relationships between educational institutions, research organizations, governments, and businesses.
• Develop and deliver programs, propositions, and business cases that contribute to the positioning and further development of the campus organization.
• Prepare and deliver subsidy and financing proposals to support projects and programs within the campus.
• Initiate, prepare, and guide pilot projects and living labs that contribute to innovation, knowledge development, and collaboration within the ecosystem.
• Deliver periodic progress reports and a final advice on the further development of the partnership.

Results.

• An elaborated and supported proposal for the further development of the ecosystem.
• An established governance and collaboration model serving as the basis for future cooperation between partners.
• A portfolio of elaborated programs, propositions, pilots, and/or living labs that align with the strategic ambitions of the campus.
• One or more prepared subsidy and financing applications including substantiation.
• A final report with concrete recommendations for the further development, positioning, and safeguarding of the campus organization.

Prerequisites.

• The contractor performs the assignment independently and is responsible for their own approach, planning, and execution.
• Coordination as needed with involved stakeholders and representatives of the participating organizations, without being part of the line organization.
• The client assesses solely on the delivered results and progress, not on the manner in which they are achieved.
• The contractor independently organizes the necessary activities, contacts, resources, and efforts.
• The contractor is not hierarchically embedded and does not fulfill a structural function within the organization.

What they ask

• Minimum of 4 years demonstrable work experience as a process manager at the intersection of innovation, area development, education, and research in a municipal organization.
• Demonstrable work experience with developing and implementing governance and collaboration structures within network organizations or complex partnerships.
• Demonstrable work experience with developing innovative ecosystems within education and/or local governments.

Preferences.

• A demonstrable relevant network of HBO and WO institutions focused on research in the domains of health, food/agri technology, and innovation.
• Demonstrable work experience with connecting research institutions and education to municipal goals.
• Demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years with developing innovative ecosystems within education and/or local governments.
• A demonstrable completed university bachelor's degree.
• More than 5 years demonstrable work experience as a process manager at the intersection of innovation, area development, education, and research in a municipal organization.
