In this role, you will contribute to supporting and monitoring safety and well-being in industrial or project-based workplaces. You will be regularly present on the work floor and play a role in following up on safety agreements and helping to create a safe working environment. You will collaborate with the project team and other involved parties to identify, discuss, and, where possible, mitigate risks. Additionally, you will support the application of applicable HSE procedures and legal requirements.
What you will do.
- Follow up on the application of safety and work procedures on the work floor
- Support investigations into incidents and near-misses
- Contribute to preventive actions and improvement measures
- Participate in or support toolbox meetings and awareness sessions
- Perform inspections and follow up on findings
- Assist in maintaining HSE documentation and reporting
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on safety and well-being
Profile
- Diploma Prevention Advisor Level II (PA2)
- Experience in an industrial, technical, or project environment is a plus, but not a strict requirement
- Interest in or knowledge of welfare and safety legislation, and practical application
- Ability to communicate observations clearly and discuss them
- Works in a structured manner and takes responsibility within your role
- Functions well in collaboration with various teams and disciplines
- Knowledge of Dutch is important; English and other languages are a plus
