A government organization is working towards a safe, livable, and accessible Netherlands. There is a major maintenance challenge due to aging infrastructure, requiring better asset management and increased production. Additionally, there is an internal task to balance performance, risks, and resources for both the operational budget and the multi-year program.
What you will do.
- Play a connecting and structuring role in the (re)programming process for the period 2027-2030, within the available budgetary and capacity frameworks.
- Deliver products quickly and in collaboration with colleagues from Region, PPO, and BS.
- Form the link between PPO / asset management on the one hand and the DT on the other in editing and guiding budget requests.
- Drive the realization of forecasts for 2026 and inform the production DT about progress.
- Maintain an overview of the internal assignment portfolio and ensure that the district is a professional client.
- Advise the district head in their role as internal Client on the progress and settlement of projects.

- Derive satisfaction from creating synergy between various stakeholders and facilitating streamlined processes, such as those for internal client management.
- Find solutions for complex issues and contribute to the successful execution of projects.
- Monitor project progress, inform direct colleagues about it, and signal when projects threaten to go beyond the scope, time, and budget.

What they ask
- Extensive experience (more than 5 years) with project control and (internal) client management within the government.
- Minimum HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) working and thinking level.

- Familiar with SAP and RUPS systems.
- Experience within a government organization.
Practical
- Work activities are performed on weekdays.
- Physical presence in the office on Tuesdays is required.
- Working at district offices is an option.
