Contract & Supplier Manager

• You proactively monitor the execution of contracts and adjust where necessary, for example by further specifying Service Levels.
• You act as an account manager and regular consultation partner for key suppliers; you show interest in their ambitions and market developments and structurally evaluate their performance.
• You ensure that the organization fulfills its own contractual obligations in a timely and accurate manner.
• You continuously initiate performance improvements and resolve operational bottlenecks together with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• You are accountable for the expenditure of funds and the delivered performance, and perform analyses in SAP for this purpose.
• You share insights gained to better structure future new contracts and tenders, taking into account frequent visits to suppliers both domestically and internationally.

What they ask You are a strong negotiator with keen commercial and business insight. You can influence and analyze well, and possess the necessary organizational sensitivity to remain professional in a vulnerable, integral role (due to the relationship with suppliers). You strive for perfect delivery for the end-users, without losing sight of a healthy supplier relationship.

What they ask

• A completed HBO or WO education, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
• Extensive experience with assortment management, procurement management, and financial management.
• Demonstrable experience in using SAP for performing analyses.
• Extensive experience working within multidisciplinary teams and drafting improvement proposals/advice.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Preferences.

• Preferably, a completed NEVI education and knowledge of public procurement law.

• A security screening is part of the application process.
• It is necessary that you, as a civilian applicant, have Dutch nationality.
• Providing a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is a condition for appointment.
• Additionally, a security screening and reference check may be part of the selection procedure. This involves a background check on, among other things, criminal records and financial matters, which takes an average of 8 weeks.
