Behavioral Scientist

• Provide a specialized behavioral science judgment on research reports, Requests for Investigation (VTOs), and similar substantive documents.
• Advise youth consultants in complex youth and family situations.
• Contribute specialized behavioral science expertise during case discussions.
• Conduct risk and safety analyses and formulate action recommendations for safety issues and potential crisis situations.
• Support the professional judgment of youth consultants through substantive expert discussions.
• Advise on the behavioral design of broad access within a local team.
• Contribute specialized knowledge and practical experience to the development of working methods, assessment frameworks, and forms of collaboration.
• Identify points of attention, risks, and success factors from a behavioral science perspective.
• Provide substantive input to project managers for the further setup and development of a pilot.
• Deliver concrete advice and recommendations that contribute to the implementation of a local team.

What they ask

• Demonstrably valid SKJ-registered and with another professional group such as the NIP.
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 6 years with advising and coaching youth consultants.
• Demonstrable work experience as a behavioral scientist with analyzing requests for help and reporting findings.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the range of interventions in the field of youth.
• Demonstrable knowledge of work experience with the normal and problematic development and upbringing of young people.
• Possess your own mobile phone including subscription for all business contacts.

Preferences.

• A demonstrably completed WO-bachelor level education in the field of youth, such as orthopedagogy or psychology.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience in managing and coaching youth consultants.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a behavioral scientist within youth care.
• Demonstrable work experience with setting up and co-developing a local team with broad access, within a municipal environment.
• Demonstrable work experience with youth issues, including assessing safety risks within families and advising on appropriate interventions.
