In this role, you will tackle complex issues and provide support in the field of information security. You will advise clients on improving internal processes and procedures to comply with relevant laws and regulations. This may involve taking on a role as an Information Security Officer, Security Consultant, or IT Risk Manager. You will assist and advise clients with ISO27001, NEN7510, or BIO implementation projects. You will seamlessly switch between various stakeholders to successfully complete assignments.
What you will do.
- Execute assignments, possibly in collaboration with colleagues
- Maintain contact with clients and make concrete agreements
- Support the development of policies and frameworks in the field of information security
- Advise on establishing processes and procedures in line with information security frameworks
- Handle file creation and documentation
- Identify and evaluate information security risks at clients
- Be aware of rules, positions, and power dynamics within organizations and act accordingly
- Regularly work on-site at clients throughout the country
- Potentially sell new assignments to clients
Profile
We are looking for a proactive, independent, and eager-to-learn professional with an open attitude and political sensitivity. You take responsibilities very seriously and have strong communication skills. You can maintain a good overview and work in a structured manner.
What they ask
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in information security
- Minimum of a completed, recognized, and full legal education at HBO or WO level (equivalent to Bachelor or Master university degree), preferably in IT, IT law, Information Security
- Preferably in possession of a CISSP, CISM, or a comparable alternative
- Experience in a political organization is a plus
- Knowledge of the Baseline Informatiebeveiliging Overheid (BIO), ISO27001/2, and NIS2
- Basic knowledge of the GDPR
- Excellent command of the Dutch language
