An organization, a knowledge center for employers for 65 years, supports more than 5,000 clients with payroll administration and HR issues. You will work with a team of 60 enthusiastic colleagues in a pleasant and informal atmosphere. A new AFAS Application Management team is being built, currently consisting of two colleagues and expanding due to customer growth and increasing demand for AFAS implementations, optimizations, and management activities.
What you will do. As an AFAS Application Manager, you will work daily with diverse HR and Payroll issues within various organizations, collective labor agreements, and AFAS environments. You will quickly develop into a broad AFAS specialist. You will be involved from the start in implementation and optimization projects and will be given a lot of responsibility and freedom.
- Independently setting up and optimizing HR and Payroll processes within AFAS
- Translating client wishes into solutions and functionalities within AFAS
- Supporting and executing implementation and optimization projects
- Analyzing and solving complex HR, Payroll, and setup issues
- Advising clients on process improvements
- Testing and implementing new functionalities, updates
- Guiding users and providing explanations and training
- Keeping up with developments within AFAS, laws and regulations, collective labor agreements, and pension funds
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of setup experience as an AFAS application manager/functional manager
- Knowledge of AFAS Profit (HRM/Payroll/InSite/OutSite)
- Affinity with HR, payroll, and administrative processes; PDL or similar payroll knowledge is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Good command of the Dutch language
- An independent and proactive work attitude
