You will guide young people aged 13 to 18 in their personal development, independence, and undertaking of activities. The young people receive 24/7 guidance so that from the age of 18, they can live independently in a reception center, their country of origin, or their own home.
What you will do.
- Organize (group) activities such as cooking, sports, or creative activities
- If necessary, act as a shadow mentor in complex cases
- Conduct methodical discussions with the young people
- Perform room checks and provide information
- Work closely with colleagues in morning, afternoon, and night shifts
- Regularly participate in meetings and intervision discussions

- Minimum a completed MBO level 4 education in anagogical direction (e.g., Social Work, Personal supervisor social care, Supervisor specific target groups, or Pedagogical employee)

- Flexible and available for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts (night shifts are always wake-up shifts)

Profile
You will work at a location that accommodates unaccompanied minor foreign nationals (UMF). This can be a permanent reception location or an emergency reception location (e.g., hotel, holiday park, office building). The size of the reception locations and the number of young people vary. A team typically consists of 15 to 40 employees, including youth workers, residential counselors, and behavioral experts.
