Healthcare Psychologist diagnostics & treatment

At a specialized care institution, patients with complex psychiatric problems requiring intensive treatment in a secure environment are helped. As a healthcare psychologist for diagnostics and treatment, you are responsible for all matters concerning the diagnostics and treatment of these patients. You make a significant contribution to the goal: helping the treated individuals to progress competently and safely.
What you do
- Independently conduct psychodiagnostic examinations, together with psychodiagnostic workers and basic psychologists.
- Provide work supervision to colleagues and clinical interns in the field of diagnostics and treatments.
- Multidisciplinary discussion of outcomes with the treatment team, with the ultimate responsibility for the treatment plan lying with the Head Practitioner.
- Provide individual and group therapies.
- Opportunity to engage in new diagnostic possibilities or participate in innovation projects or research.
- Collaborate in a close-knit and committed team of therapists, trainers, treatment evaluation coordinators, psychodiagnostic staff, and basic psychologists.
What they ask
- Completed GZ (Healthcare) Psychologist training.
- BIG registration as a healthcare psychologist.
- Experience with risk management and various treatment methods (SFT, DGT, MBT, EMDR, CBT, schema therapy, and ACT).
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Affinity with transcultural psychiatry.
- Preferably, experience in forensic psychiatry.
- Preferably, in possession of a PCL-R and experienced in drawing up risk assessments.
- Preferably, knowledge of multiple languages (English, Arabic, and/or French).
