As a social psychiatric nurse within a multidisciplinary team, no day is the same. You will strengthen a team with decisiveness, empathy, and a sense of humor. You will work within a specialized outpatient mental health facility for forensic psychiatric treatment. This facility offers diagnosis and treatment to people with psychological problems involving (imminent) delinquent behavior.
The focus is on reducing the risk of (new) offenses and helping patients build a socially acceptable life, thereby contributing to social safety. You will join a full team consisting of experienced colleagues with diverse disciplines and expertise, where pleasant cooperation and humor are valued.
What you do
- Shape and give content to treatment together with the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure the common thread in the treatment.
- Prepare and discuss (partial) treatment plans and evaluations.
- Provide treatment both at home and at the outpatient clinic.
Profile
- Completed training as a Social Psychiatric Nurse.
- Valid BIG registration and AGB code with SPV qualification.
- Registered in the V&VN Quality Register as an SPV.
- Affinity with forensic psychiatry and the specific target group.
- Respect for others is paramount, and you have a non-judgmental attitude.
- You find it challenging to deliver state-of-the-art customized care within guidelines.
- You dare to pioneer, innovate, and think outside the box.
- Possess a driving license and own car.
