What you will do.
- Be involved in reports where medical expertise is required, such as in cases of physical violence, sexual violence, severe neglect, and assessing the consequences of addiction and psychiatry in adults.
- Act as the first point of contact for suspicions of domestic violence and child abuse in the medical circuit.
- Provide telephone advice to medical professionals and review the steps of the KNMG reporting code with them.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team with case managers, behavioral scientists, and legal staff to find the best solutions for families.
- Collaborate with regional hospitals, forensic doctors, the Public Prosecution Service, police, and the Council for Child Protection.
- Conduct top-to-toe examinations of children in cases of suspected physical abuse or neglect at a specialized center.
