As a program supervisor, you conduct individual interviews with residents, provide tailor-made training, and organize information meetings.

The goal is to empower residents of a reception center so that they can actively work on their future.
The guidance depends on the phase of the procedure they are in.
You encourage residents to fill their days in an active and meaningful way and to participate in society, which is called 'activation'.
An active daily routine enables residents to better take control of their own lives and make a valuable contribution to society.

Minimum completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Social Work, Psychology, Social Legal Services, or a teaching qualification.
Experience with teaching or providing (individual) methodical guidance.
Flexible availability between 08:00 and 22:00, including weekend shifts.
Driving license and own car are necessary due to poor accessibility of certain locations.
For specific locations: affinity, knowledge, and experience with labor market participation of asylum seekers and relationship management within local municipalities.

Practical

You will work at one of the reception locations of a reception organization.
This can be a permanent asylum seekers' center or an emergency shelter.
You will work in a team with various colleagues such as residential supervisors and case managers.
The team varies from 15 to 40 colleagues, depending on the size of the center.
You will start at a training location and be trained by an experienced colleague.
Afterwards, you can work independently at that location or another.
