BICO Advisor

A regional service provider for an inclusive labor market is looking for a BICO (Policy, Innovation, Communication, and Organizational Development) advisor. This role is a maternity leave replacement and focuses on bringing structure, helping to realize projects, and maintaining an overview. The BICO department supports management and teams in policy, innovation, communication, and organizational development, with a focus on strategic themes, project-based work, data-driven work, annual planning, and OGSM steering.

What you will do.

  • Support and lead projects, ensure an overview, and monitor agreements
  • Translate goals into concrete actions, milestones
  • Take responsibility for the execution, progress, and coordination of assigned projects within agreed frameworks
  • Prepare, monitor, and update the annual planning for important organization-wide moments (OGSM cycle, evaluation moments, decision-making)
  • Collect and organize information, ensuring stakeholders are aware of what is expected of them in a timely manner
  • Act as a point of contact for OGSM within the organization
  • Establish and monitor project plans, milestones, actions
  • Keep track of planning, actions, decisions, risks
  • Prepare project meetings and record clear agreements
  • Signal when progress, capacity, or decision-making requires attention
  • Assist in creating simple project documents, progress reports, and management information
  • Support the preparation of OGSM build sessions, quarterly discussions
  • Collect, organize, and verify input from teams
  • Ensure that actions and agreements from the OGSM cycle are followed up
  • Act as a practical point of contact for questions about planning, progress
  • Translate organizational information into short, clear texts and overviews
  • Draft concept notes, memos, reports, and action overviews
  • Contribute to improvements in project-based work, planning
  • Ensure clear communication with involved colleagues regarding deadlines, agreements, and next steps

What they ask

  • Completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrable internship and/or work experience with project support, project coordination, and/or project-based work within a public or social organization
  • Demonstrable internship and/or work experience with setting up and monitoring project plans, action lists, progress overviews, and/or project reports
  • Demonstrable internship and/or work experience with preparing, organizing, and recording meetings, decision-making, and action points
  • Demonstrable internship and/or work experience with collecting, structuring, and processing information for management information, reports, notes, and/or advice

Preferences.

  • Demonstrable work experience with independently coordinating or executing projects, including planning, progress monitoring, stakeholder alignment, and achieving project results
  • Demonstrable work experience with managing, updating, and monitoring plans, annual plans, program calendars, and/or organization-wide planning and control cycles
  • Demonstrable work experience with collecting, analyzing, and processing information into progress reports, management information, notes, memos, and/or advisory products
  • Demonstrable work experience within a municipal organization, implementing organization, or other public service provider
  • Demonstrable work experience with organizational steering and accountability processes, such as OGSM, planning & control, program steering, project-based work, or comparable methodologies
  • Demonstrable affinity with public services, the social domain, and/or labor market issues
