An educational institution is seeking an enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher for a project focused on evaluating and implementing blended therapy with Virtual Reality in mental healthcare. This approach combines therapy with VR and has the potential to increase the accessibility of trauma treatment and utilize treatment capacity more efficiently.
What you will do.
- Daily execution of the research.
- Close collaboration with the project team of the educational institution and professionals from a healthcare organization.
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative research.
- Setting up, conducting, and analyzing interviews with clients and focus groups with therapists.
- Analyzing questionnaire, treatment, and registration data.
- Reporting research results in scientific and practice-oriented publications.
- Presenting results to researchers, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
Profile
- A PhD in (Health) Psychology, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field.
- Demonstrable affinity with mixed-methods research and experience with qualitative research methods such as interviews and focus groups.
- Interest and preferably experience working in a clinical practice setting.
- Interest in implementation science, eHealth, and digital care innovations.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for data collection.
