You will support residents with a mild intellectual disability in their self-direction, independence, and daily care. The target group consists of people of various ages and support needs. Some residents live independently, while others require support with structure, self-management, or Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Your team. You will work in a dedicated and collegial team of staff and interns. The team consists of coordinating support workers, support workers, assistant support workers, and a domestic worker. You will work independently during your shift and coordinate within smaller coaching groups regarding a number of residents.
What you do
- Guide residents in structure, self-direction
- Provide support with daily care, such as showering, dressing, and toilet use
- Switch between residents with different support needs
- Signal changes and monitor the well-being of residents
- Adapt guidance based on individual needs
- Work according to the Active Support methodology (experience is a plus)
- Work in a rotating schedule with day, evening, sleep, and weekend shifts

- Completed MBO 3 diploma (vocational education) in Care and Welfare or a comparable education
- Affinity with people with intellectual disabilities, particularly the LVB target group
- Willingness to provide ADL support

- Relevant work experience within disability care
