AMO Instructor

• Guide new military personnel during their General Military Training (AMO) and help them develop from civilian to military.
• Transfer knowledge and skills, with attention to attitude, discipline, cooperation, and professional conduct.
• Provide lessons based on established learning objectives, translating them to the target group and practical application.
• Encourage trainees to take responsibility, think independently, and actively work on their development.
• Coach and guide trainees in their development, monitor their progress, and provide targeted feedback.
• Serve as an example in attitude, behavior, and professionalism.
• As a senior instructor, take responsibility for the quality and progress within your class.
• Be the first point of contact for junior instructors, supporting them in their development.
• Monitor the progress of trainees together with the adjutant.
• Conduct more complex trainee discussions and identify when extra guidance is needed.
• Carefully document guidance.
• Provide direction to both trainees and colleagues with your experience and substantive knowledge.

What they ask

• Extensive military experience and current, broad knowledge of the military field.
• Left a defense organization a maximum of 10 years ago.
• Experience in guiding, coaching, or managing colleagues and/or trainees, finding the right balance between clarity and support.
• Strong communication skills, exuding calm and seniority.
• Able to provide direction to trainees and junior instructors.
• Completed instructor training (ECOD) or willingness to follow it.

• Temporary appointment with the prospect of a permanent contract.
• Salary level: Civilian scale IBBAD 06.
