You will work at a specialized residential facility of a care organization, where care, structure, and attention are central. You will guide aging clients with visual and intellectual disabilities, often combined with reduced mobility and other physical limitations. You will help them with a pleasant daily routine and provide the necessary support with attention, involvement, and expertise.
What you do
- Provide intensive guidance for daily activities such as personal care and eating
- Address additional medical issues like epilepsy or swallowing disorders
- Support clients with ADL (Activities of Daily Living)
- Ensure a safe, calm, and familiar living environment with a clear daily structure
- Organize appropriate daytime activities and individual activities with colleagues
- Observe behavior, signal changes, and communicate these to colleagues
- Work with a client plan and actively contribute to improvements in guidance
What they ask
- Completed MBO 3 Verzorgende IG (Dutch vocational education level 3 in caregiving) qualification
- Familiarity with care tasks and the ability to perform them diligently and with pleasure
- Eye for the needs of clients
- Patience, empathy, and good observation skills
- Experience in elderly care, disability care, or intensive care is a plus
Practical
- Fixed-term contract with the prospect of permanent employment
- Salary according to the CAO Gehandicaptenzorg (Collective Labour Agreement for Disability Care): Level 3 FWG 35
- Irregularity allowances and an 8.33% year-end bonus
- Ample opportunities for further training and personal development through an internal academy
- Attractive secondary employment conditions (collective insurance, bicycle plan)
- A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required
