UI UX Designer Drupal

A public educational institution is looking for a UI/UX designer for a contract.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal usability of CMS applications.
You will translate organizational requirements into solutions that comply with established guidelines.
You will participate in the agile process and advise the product owner.

What you will do.

Analyze user needs and translate them into user flows, interaction concepts, and concrete designs.
Collaborate with the chief editor to analyze content-related user problems and develop appropriate solutions at the intersection of content, UX, and interface.
Design and further develop user-friendly, consistent, and responsive interfaces for the Drupal platforms.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs in Figma.
Design new components, patterns, variants, and states within the existing design system.
Further develop and manage the design system and component library in Figma, including the existing extensive design token structure with several hundred interdependent tokens.
Design accessible interfaces in accordance with WCAG.

You participate in the agile process and advise the product owner.

What they ask

Minimum 2 years of demonstrable relevant work experience within the public sector, preferably within Higher Education.
Minimum 2 projects independently executed in the field of UI/UX in the role of UI/UX designer.
Minimum HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level.
Minimum an HBO degree (technical, business, legal, or other relevant education).
Excellent command of both Dutch and English (oral and written), for English at least CEFR level B-2.
