A mental health institution offers home-based crisis treatment for clients who are in or at risk of a crisis. This form of treatment is intended for adult clients already in contact with the organization, as well as for adults who are new to a psychiatric crisis. The goal is rapid, short-term treatment to prevent or shorten crises.
The team providing this intensive treatment is a multidisciplinary Crisis Service/Intensive Home Treatment (IHT) team, consisting of a psychiatrist, psychologist, social psychiatric nurse, nurse, and system therapist.
What you do
- As an independently working professional, you provide intensive help in the home situation.
- You focus on crisis intervention, stabilization, inventory of underlying problems, and psychoeducation.
- A significant part of your actions is system-oriented.
- You are responsible for (part of) the treatment in various phases of a client's trajectory.
- You pay attention to the client's self-management and work recovery-oriented.
- You make many home visits and are flexible and quickly deployable to intensify care, both during and outside office hours.
- You collaborate intensively within a multidisciplinary team with part-time IHT, outpatient therapists, and other (external) network partners.

- A completed HBO Nursing degree with a specialization as a Social Psychiatric Nurse (SPV).
- Strong communication skills and a connecting approach.
- The ability to work independently within a self-organizing, multidisciplinary team.
- You can independently handle crisis situations.
- You are willing to work irregular hours.
- You are in possession of a B driving license and a car.
