The Medical Information Management (MIM) department plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of digital information provision within the military healthcare services of a government organization. This environment is complex, dynamic, and significant for delivering good and continuous care. MIM consists of four sections: information and data management, functional management & support, information security & privacy protection, and project and portfolio management.
The functional management & support (FBO) section is responsible for the operational support of military healthcare information systems, including operational support and the development and functional management of business-critical applications. Functional managers are sought for a dental information system.
What you do
- Functionally manage and improve the dental information system for dental care.
- Serve as the first point of contact for user questions, incidents, and change requests regarding the information system.
- Guide professionals in using the information system correctly and translate user wishes into concrete adjustments or improvements.
- Support projects in setting up, testing, and implementing new functionalities and functional extensions.
What they ask
- HBO working and thinking level, with at least a completed MBO education, preferably in healthcare, ICT, or information management.
- Current knowledge and several years of experience as a functional manager or application manager.
- Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented attitude.
- Affinity with the context of a government organization.
Preferences.
- Knowledge and experience in dentistry or with a specific dental information system.
- Knowledge of BiSL, ITIL, or other management standards.
